Her band Laura Cortese & the Dance Cards is a quartet of singing string players whose original music draws from diverse traditions and experiences to create a broad-minded yet clear-eyed sonic vision. It’s based in the lyrical rituals of folk music while exploring new territories, moving seamlessly from gauzy, ethereal vocal harmonies to rowdy indie-rock percussion to propulsive fiddle melodies directly from Appalachia or Scotland.

 Indie Folk-Rock combination Suzanne's Band is the official vehicle driven by Texas based singer/songwriter Mia Suzanne Walker. Career highlights include being Captain of the Air Force choir at Sheppard AFB and also being in a vocal group backing up Amy Grant and Michael W. Smith. The anti-genre approach to her songwriting creates an entirely different basis to build on along with introspective ideals and the importance of self-worth laced into the lyrics. The video of Down In Mexico makes you feel like you really feel like you need to pack a bag and get away for awhile. The cell phone being chucked into the sand is a snap shot of emotion that we've all felt at some point or another with that "one person" who just can't seem to put down their phone! Today's Video Share: I Know a Place by Line Bøgh

Line Bøghs music is light hearted, breezy and poetic, a playful scandinavian sound. When on tour she teams up with Christian Gundtoft and their live act is a cinematic concert where drawings and animations, tightly relating to the songs, are being projected up on the stage. Everything is handcrafted and created on the spot, and they go for a sophisticated yet highly entertaining art experience. The video for "I Know A Place" was directed by Christian Gundtoft.

Today's Video Share: Down to the Wire by The Folk Survival Club

In the last few years I was one of the singers of the trio: The Folk Survival Club. We recorded this beautiful song written by David Munyon and used footage for this video from a road movie that we made 'Searching for the Heart of the Heartlands', the song is one of the soundtracks in this movie. The Folk Survival Club are: Ankie Keultjes van Meurs, Marjan Cornille and Ad van Meurs.

Today's Video Share: Back Together by Lynz Crichton

 Lynz Crichton is an independent award-winning singer-songwriter from Nottingham in the UK and her style is reminiscent of female musicians like Jewel, Grace Potter and Amy MacDonald. She is part of the new wave of independent musicians, where friends of her music are at the center of everything she does. Her recent double EP release was called 'We Made This' and was born out of a project where Lynz would include her Crichton Clan at every step of the way. She recorded acoustic demo's of as many songs as she could within the first 90 days of 2018, and then asked the Crichton Clan to vote on which ones they wanted on the EP. The response blew her away, and very quickly she realised that her followers wanted to be part of the creative process. The Limited Run of CD's sold out within two weeks and now Lynz wants to share her music with you too. This music video for Back Together was the very first single Lynz ever released. This music video was filmed in a single session in Oakland. This song has a very special place in my heart. I wrote it shortly after my now-spouse and I started dating. It is so fitting that this is my first video, since I don't think I could have made this album happen without Harlow's support.

Maini Sorri is a Swedish-Finnish singer, musician and songwriter living in Sweden who has composed music since she was 8 years old. She has studied song, piano and music theory and is a Bachelor of Arts. She has recorded her own songs and performed them in concerts and on radio and Swedish TV. 

Maini's discography contains 5 albums, 3 extended plays and 19 singles. Bring Me Home is the title track from her pop/rock/dance album with release on September 20th. Bring me Home is based on a true story that Maini told Gary Cornman from USA. Maini was lost in the dark behind an endless electric fence. Gary surprised Maini by writing a poem about her adventure that Maini then composed.

Bring Me Home is Co-Produced by Brian Lanese & Orlando Mestre, USA and mixed, mastered and engineered by Brian Lanese. All instruments are performed and recorded by Orlando Mestre. Brian Lanese is a three time Emmy Award winner and lead singer in the multiple Grammy-nominated LA band Permanent Ability. Band's guitarist Orlando Mestre has participated in "America's Got Talent" and toured around the world.

Label is Reya music. Video produced by Levmusic that really told the story of the adventure and added amazing nature scenes to it.

In spring of 2015 God Sent me an angel!! While visiting us our guitar player, Dave Bergquist, he called an old friend of his in Minneapolis, Kim Martin!! A few weeks later she called asked to write a song for me! She sent me a song “Angels Are Among Us” about when angels are among us we never walk alone, and as a breast cancer survivor, this song has great meaning to me! It touched my heart and I loved it, so Dave put chords to it! After practicing, we went to the Two Bird Dogs Studio, owned by Steve Bankey in Dakota Dunes SD and recorded a scratch vocal and instrumental!  

In the meantime, a musician in Nashville, Gerry Peters of Midi Magic Studio contacted me through LinkedIn and wanted to work with me! The rough track was sent to him. After receiving the final instrumental track, I returned to the studio to record the song! Steve then sent it to Gerry for mastering and harmony!  

Gerry Peters then made a video to go with the song and released it in 2017!

Josie Day is a pop artist currently residing in San Diego, CA. Originally from Malta, she moved to the United States in 2003 to pursue her musical aspirations. Having worked with many cover bands throughout her career, her musical influences have broadened immensely, so she draws inspiration from many different genres in her songwriting.
"Love Spell" is a feel-good pop/rock song about being in love. The video was shot and edited by Josie herself, starring her husband Jonathan and two dogs, Obee and Lilly.

Seattle Neosoul/ RnB artist Carina Lewis, is a voice to be reckoned with. A life fully lived has culminated in music steeped in honesty, passion and pain. Her deep and sultry vocals mesmerize and seem to have the power to tame the rowdiest of crowds.

“Baby Boy,” was written as a lullaby for Carina’s son and has also become an anthem of a mother’s struggle to love both herself and her child to the very best of her ability.

The song has recently been released as a single in her usual soulful style peppered with electronic elements. This video version, however, is a poignant behind the scenes look at who Carina really is.

My name is Louise D'Arcy. I'm a singer songwriter from Australia and this is my very first music video for my song 'Hear That Sound'. We filmed it in my sister's photography studio with help from family and friends of my niece and nephew. The song itself was written in response to all the news stories coming in from overseas regarding gun related deaths and violence so it inspired this song which is essentially a fictional story about a real issue of Gun Culture which influences youth and future generations.

Inspired by the film Cloud Atlas, ‘A Place for the Heart’ tells the story of the characters played by Halle Berry and Tom Hanks, who are trying to come together. The video was shot in Venice and Camber Sands – places that connect with the imagery of seafaring in the lyrics – and alludes to Cloud Atlas’ theme of reincarnation.

Maaike Siegerist is an award-winning Dutch jazz and ‘dark folk’ artist with airplay on BBC Radio 6. She moved to the UK to study songwriting in Bath, where she recorded her debut album Born Before the Wind, from which ‘A Place for the Heart’ is taken.

Sam Hatmaker is a singer/songwriter rooted in country music, but influenced by rock, pop, and folk. At 20 years old she has a story to tell, and in this video she shares her song about overcoming bullying and judgment. Sam discovered her passion for music at a young age, and fell in love with the way country music tells a story after growing up performing in shows at Dollywood. She has been signed to Warner/Chappell Nashville since 2015, and is currently recording music with producer Nathan Chapman.
